We are previously known as the Department of Pharmacy, under the Faculty of Medicine.
In 2019, the Department of Pharmacy was upgraded with the setting up of a Faculty of Pharmacy which is fully operational since 1st September 2019.
The Faculty of Pharmacy is offering a four-year professional pharmacy programme under the semester system. This programme offers a broad-based curriculum with evidence-based practices and dynamic characteristics to support future career opportunities and advancement. We also offer postgraduate programmes by research leading to Master and Doctoral Degrees to both Malaysian and overseas students.
The research programmes encompass various areas of pharmaceutical sciences, including medicinal chemistry, natural products chemistry, drug action and drug delivery, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoepidemiology and evidence-based pharmacotherapy related to clinical and pharmacy practice.
