Diverse Research Areas: Our research area are versatile and spans precision medicine, medication safety, antimicrobial pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacoepidemiolog and safe disposal of unused medicine.
Integrated Postgraduate Opportunities: Pharmacy graduates interested in Pharmaceutical Research Practice (PRP) can pursue postgraduate studies concurrently with PRP training at our department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice.
Certified Preceptors: Majority of academics within the department are certified pharmacy preceptors accredited by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
Experiential Learning: The department offers Clinical clerkship modules at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) offer hands-on learning across diverse clinical disciplines including geriatrics, pediatrics, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology, and infectious diseases.
UMMC Hospital Services: The majority of academics within the department provide Pharmacy services to UMMC. The Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Practice is the only academic department in Malaysia providing hospital pharmacy services at the hospital in Malaysia.
